TLN Television, alongside 20 prominent Italian Canadian families makes an unprecedented $10 million milestone contribution to the Art Gallery of Ontario for the Transformation AGO campaign.
Most recently TLN, alongside 20 prominent Italian Canadian families partnered with the Art Gallery of Ontario with an unprecedented $10 million milestone contribution for the Transformation AGO campaign. In acknowledgement of this significant contribution to the Gallery and the leadership of the Italian-Canadian community, the AGO will name its sculpture promenade Galleria Italia.

Not-For-Profit Organization Partnerships:
In the past several years alone, TLN has assisted a wide-range of not-for-profit and community based organizations in raising well over one million dollars for several causes.

TLN also provides ongoing promotional, production and programming support to many other charities (such as the "Smiles of Innocence" campaign in support of The Hospital for Sick Children, Villa Charities, The Baker Centre and others) and to community organizations such as the Canadian Hispanic Congress, the National Congress of Italian Canadians, The Canadian Italian Business and Professionals Association, and others.
TLN Television has helped raise over 1.5 million dollars for the Caritas organization and prepares to once again roll up its sleeves for the 14th annual Caritas Telethon set to air Sunday April 27, 2008 at 5pm/et:
Now in its 14th year, the Caritas Telethon on TLN Television has helped to raise over 1.5 million dollars for the Caritas organization and has raised national awareness of its therapeutic community based rehabilitation program which focuses on addiction, mental health and recovery. TLN AND THE HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION
TLN Television join forces in Support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario's 7 Summits Challenge to help raise funds for the foundations Automated External Defibrillator program.

After the immense success of TLN's partnership with the HSFO in 2007 for the Ride Younge, Stay Young campaign, TLN and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario once again joined forces to support The "7 Summits" Challenge as Rocco Rossi, HSFO CEO set out to scale the heights of the world's tallest mountain without venturing outside city limits to help raise funds for the foundation's Automated External Defibrillator program.

TLN Television provided Rossi with a Helmet Cam, which allowed him to record his entire trek and his video diary was uploaded to tlntv.com. Rossi climbed the city's seven tallest office towers several times over the span of a three day weekend, until he had climbed the equivalent of Mount Everest. Over the course of the long weekend, he climbed nearly 60,000 steps, the equivalent of 29,028 feet.

As part of an ongoing series of initiative with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, TLN was a proud sponsor of Vino dell Vita, as over 500 guests were present at Roy Thomson Hall raising $100,000 in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation Centre for Stroke Recovery. This annual event featured over 90 vintners from across Italy, delicious food, music and much more - all in the name of stroke recovery.

TLN Television and TLN en Español partner with the Canadian Red Cross to assist in a disaster relief for flood victims in Mexico

In November 2007, TLN Television and its 100% Spanish language affiliated channel TLN en Español, partnered with the Canadian Red Cross to help raise emergency relief funds to those affected by the floods in Mexico. As part of their multi-platform effort, TLN Television and TLN en Español networks took full advantage of their cross-promotion capabilities to promote the fundraising efforts on-air, in the community and online. A dedicated Spanish language site was created on tlntv.com reaching out to the Hispanic community including a link and toll-free phone number to the Canadian Red Cross to facilitate donations.

TLN host and celebrity chef David Rocco of David Rocco's Dolce Vita regaled guests with insight on how to live La Dolce Vita without leaving Vaughan as he hosted this year's Baker Centre fundraiser in attempts to surpass the unprecedented $62 000 that was raised for the foundation at the 2007 event.
TLN extends a helping hand to help raise funds for the Hospital for Sick Children's Foundation as the Smiles of Innocence Charity celebrated its 10th anniversary.
TLN is a proud annual supporter of the Smiles of Innocence Memorial Charity which celebrated its 10th year in 2007 by reaching a $2-million milestone for the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation. The Vaughan charity is an organization of caring individuals dedicated to promoting awareness and raising funds through various activities in the community.
Vaughan Health Care Foundation
TLN joined the Vaughan Health Care Foundation in making magic happen at "Let the Magic Begin 2007"in efforts to raise funds for the new Vaughan hospital. TLN Television took part in making magic happen as The Vaughan Health Care Foundation hosted its largest fundraising event, Let the Magic Begin. All funds went towards realizing a new hospital in Vaughan.
