A gastronomical meander through the Veneto region in the northeast of Italy. Dotted with old hilltowns and historical cities crammed with art treasures, it is also home to many of Italy's best fresh produce markets and mouth-watering cuisine from age-old traditions.
Phillip lives in the countryside in a rambling villa, Ca' dei Sapori, with his trusty Cook whose task it is to design a bespoke dinner for each of Phillip's special guests. The two travel the region by vintage motorbike and sidecar, exploring and purchasing the ingredients needed. Back in the kitchen, Cook gets to work with Phillip's help, and memorable meals are created. Step by step explanations are given along with clear ingredient lists and recipes.
