Toronto Volkswagen Beetle Invasion!

which is a ‘Feel Good’ charity that taps into the enthusiasm and generosity of the people who love the Volkswagen Beetle to raise money for Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. Each year Volkswagen Beetle owners from all over Ontario bring their Bugs into Toronto to raise money for SickKids. We call this gathering the Toronto Volkswagen Beetle Invasion! It is the largest gathering of its kind in Ontario. The rare spectacle of so many Volkswagen Beetles generates an enormous amount of visibility and interest for our event. The ‘Drive-a-thon’ portion of our fundraising event is 40 Hours of driving the eye catching ‘Punch Buggy 4 SickKids’ Volkswagen Baja Bug around Toronto. During the drive-a-thon, other Volkswagen Beetle enthusiasts will be taking pledges of their own and joining the ‘Punch Buggy 4 SickKids’ car on the streets to raise money and promote our event. Meagan’s Walk: Creating a Circle of Hope
This Mother’s Day do something special and join the thousands who will come out to Ontario Place along the shores of Lake Ontario to support the 8th Annual Meagan’s Walk. The walk will take place on Sunday May 10th and begin at 10:00 a.m. Walkers, runners, strollers and babies on parents’ back will start out on a 5 kilometer trek from Ontario Place to SIckKids where the participants will hug the hospital.
