1. How do I register?
Log on to tlntv.com, enter TLN Soccer Pool page and click on the "Register Here" link. Once at the registration page, enter the required information in the fields provided. Upon completion of the registration form, hit "Register Now". You will then receive a confirmation email indicating that your registration was successful and you are able to begin placing your weekly bids.
I don't have email yet. How do I get a free email account?
You can get free accounts that you can access through your browser from a number of places on the web. Yahoo! Mail and MSN Hotmail are excellent in this regard.
May I register multiple times and play on more than one account?
As indicated in the rules and regulations, each contestant is limited to one set of picks per Game Week.
What is a "username"?
Your username will be the name used to identify you in the contest standings, and is the name you type in (along with your password) to play when your browser prompts you to log in. We reserve the right to change people's usernames in the event that offensive names are used.
When I enter my chosen username, I get a message saying that the name has already been taken. Why?
You have chosen a username that has already been taken. You'll need to select a different username.
My email address is rejected. Why?
An email address may be rejected because it contains a ! (exclamation mark) or some other character that is not allowed. Also, an email address may only be registered once.
I type in my username and password, but I get an error message and I'm not allowed to view any of the restricted access pages, like "My Picks". What should I do?
You may have mistyped your username or password. You may want to try again or see the next question...
I've forgotten my password/username, what should I do?
Click on "If you forgot our password, let us remind you" link and you will receive a reminder email with your username and password.
My email address has changed. How can I get add my new address to my user profile?
Send an email to soccer@tlntv.com and your email address will be updated in your user profile.
2. Log In with Your Username and Password
I'm having problems logging in, what should I do?
You must register before you can log in. See the previous section. If you have registered, and you get a message telling you that "Your username or password does not match our records", Click on the "If you forgot our password, let us remind you" link and you will receive a reminder email with your username and password.
The username on the link menu is not mine. What happened?
Someone else was logged into the contest before you from the same computer. If you click on the "Enter Weekly Picks" menu choice you will be taken to the login page to switch to your own account.
3. Entering Picks
How do I enter my picks?
Go to the "Enter Weekly Picks" page and select your choices. Once you've submitted your picks AND you see a web page confirming that your picks have been processed, you're officially entered.
When is the submission deadline for entering my picks?
The submission deadline for entering picks for the applicable day are posted on the game card.
When and how often may I change my picks?
Once you have placed your bids for the Game week they can not be changed.
How are my Points calculated?
You will earn the number of Points specified for your prediction for each of your correct picks.
Standings
How do I see my standings in the contest?
Once you are logged in, go to the "My Standings" page for the Game Weeks results. Standings are updated at the end of each Game Week.
How are the rankings determined?
You are ranked by your points. Your rank in a Game Week is determined by the number of points you earn for that Week. Each week scores are reset to 0.
Can there be ties in the Standings?
Yes. Please see the Rules for a full explanation of how ties are handled.
4. View Picks
How do I view My Picks?
Weekly picks can be viewed by clicking on the "View my Picks" link. You will also receive an email listing your weekly picks.
